Museum data loads over the internet. Make sure you're connected, then open the country from the Explore tab or the map. If you've downloaded a country for offline use, its museums stay available even without a connection.
Open a country and tap Download to save its museums to your device, including images. You can browse, search and view details for downloaded countries without an internet connection. Remove a download any time from the country's page to free up space.
No. Location is used only on your device to center the map and show nearby museums. It is never sent to our servers or shared with anyone. You can deny the permission and still use every other part of the app.
Go to Profile → Settings → Language and pick from the available languages. The app currently supports English, Türkçe, Español, Français, Deutsch, 中文, العربية, Русский, Português, 日本語 and हिन्दी.
No. World Museums works fully without signing in. Favorites and trips are stored on your device.
